Hello! My name is Michelle Dellene and I have mast cell disease.
I’ve just moved here to my new home on the web after blogging about life with mast cell activation syndrome for the last few months over at Scattered Among The Leaves. I wanted a new name that reflects the disease better, and MastCellDisease.com pretty well covers it!
This website is dedicated to bringing awareness to mast cell disease — particularly mast cell activation syndrome — so please share posts, pages and graphics from this site freely. I use the hashtag #mastcelldiseaseawareness so feel free to use it, too!
I’ll be leaving posts up at my old site for a while but I plan to eventually migrate everything over here and I’ll be adding a lot more resources as well. I will continue blogging here about my own personal experiences with this chronic, debilitating disease, too, so please take a moment to subscribe by email using the form in the sidebar so you don’t miss out.
If you don’t want email updates, remember to bookmark this site and check back often because it will be changing pretty rapidly as I add new things.
Comments are turned off but if you have any questions you can always contact me through my email using the address listed under the About >>> Contact Me tab at the top of the page. It may take me a day or two to respond (unless I am really sick) but I love to hear from you and I will do my best to answer honestly and factually. I love to chat with others with this disease, too, because sometimes it’s nice to feel not so alone.
To learn more about my own fascinating (no, really!) journey with mast cell disease, please click on the About >> My MCAD Dx tab at the top of each page.
Also, make sure to check out the other tabs, too. There you’ll find a wealth of information from symptoms to doctors to recommended treatments for MCAD.
Thanks for stopping by and remember, we’re in this together!
